The story begins on a hot and muggy day in DC.  Erin and Kristen had finished getting ready at each of their apartments, complete with cute outfits, make-up, and by some awesome occurrence, a good hair day.  On the way out the door, they were smacked hard with the humidity that DC is known for.  Walking to work seemed more like crawling, and the make-up that was once meant for the face was now dripping down their necks.  From opposite sides of the street, Erin and Kristen met eyes.  “Almost there…” Kristen grunted under her breath.

They finally met in front of the store with frizzy hair, make-up in all the wrong places, and sweaty clothes, “We need to make tank tops!” they both spat out at the same time (they do this alot).  “Ok!”  The perfect echo was creepy.

And so they set off to work.  They were determined to figure out a way to use up their smaller scraps that were left over from cutting out their other clothing designs.  After many trials and errors, the No-Waste Tank was born, and looks something like this:

Just like our other designs, the tanks are personally sewn by us Gingers.   We strive to keep each one unique (we don’t like to sew things together in same combo twice) and eco-friendly (by cutting them from sad/damaged old clothes or surplus fabrics).
