Say you have an old, worn-out cardigan from Forever 21. What do you do with it? You turn it into a vest! And of course you wear it on the one day in July when the temperature is actually below 90 degrees  (Hey, seize the day right? And look at the cheery yellow color, you can’t say no to that).

But a knit vest is no biggie if you have light layers underneath. Seriously, we can’t get enough of these cowl tops. This one is made from scraps and vintage fabric. It’s so breezy! Kristen wore it with bloomers, our favorite Jennifer Jeremias earrings, and the cutest thrifted sandals ever! The sandals are originally  from BC Footwear, but Kristen scored them for cheap from Martha’s Outfitters.
