Everybody loves a kimono with stunning fabric.  The only problem is how and where do you wear it?  Jessica brought us her’s and we decided to turn it into a dress so she can enjoy it time and time again.  Here’s the before:

After figuring out the style of dress she wanted, we removed sleeves, re-cut the arm holes, closed up the side slits, recut the neckline, removed shoulder pads (they were red! crazy!!), took in the sides, added back darts, and finally added extra closures to keep the opening secure.  *Whew* That was a lot 🙂

Now all she needs is her favorite statement jewelry and pumps, and she’s set!
