Our customer profile this week features one of our clients who’s been with us since before there was Ginger Root. She once told me that she wears something made by an independent artist every day, a choice that has always inspired me.
This time, Laurie came to us with a suit jacket that she wanted to tweak and update. First we had her try it on, and figured out how high she wanted us to recut the front. Then, I used french curves to mark the transition from the higher front hem to the lower hem in the back. We rehemmed the jacket, and voila! A brand new office staple!
